Our Your Self Storage Story
We went to Florida and volunteered in the Ocala National Forest in 2012.
Life is better around those who don't domineer, who act rational and aren't absorbed by their self.
We feel sad for those who remain unwell and still pray God will help them see.
It's sad for anyone to burn in hell and to have lived a life that was not free.
At the Ocala National Forest, they provided us a Ford Ranger.
They were like,"go explore and don't get into danger."
We were told to run the visitor center that was in Salt Springs.
Looking back at our trials, we were winners; it's funny what life brings.
One night while I was sleeping, Dave applied for a job.
Almost a decade, us, said job wound up keeping. About six years was with Sonya and Rob.
We went to work for Brady managing Outback Self Storage in Dunnellon, Florida in September of 2012.
Undeterred by difficulty and uncertainty, at this job we did delve.
In 2015, Brady sold the place.
Rob said he'd said he would buy if customers could still see our face.
< Rob changed the name to Your Self Storage, which we learned years later is a name in "Silence of the Lambs."
Much of the time we spent under that name felt horrid and filled up with jams.
At a resort in Cherokee, North Carolina, we were offered to be a cook.
We think that is a fun place to be and one of our favorite places to look.
We agreed to stay employed at YSS because our daughter got sick.
She said she needed help with her little girl and boy and to please get there quick.
So, sold was the motor-home and bought was a Suburban so our daughter could haul her four kids.
It is important to tell you some of the things the Friersons did.
We saw this YSS boss as devious, which made us both feel low.
We bought some land in Holder, Florida which is where we planned to go.
It requires a lot in Florida to get a place set up.
The longer we stayed at the storage job the more bitter became our cup.
Once, during a hurricane, he drove down from Stuart and took all our bottled water.
We are the ones who'd purchased it. There's more that left us hotter.
He suggested taking the gas left in the tenants' rig.
Dave looked at him aghast and thought, "no way, you pig!"
Dave simply told him no, that we could not do that.
That's no way to go unless one is a rat.
So, we gave him our gas and our new gas can.
He never returned the gas or can, which was an annoyance for this man.
The YSS website lies by alleging to have never had a burglary. . .
. . . in the time we were under YSS, we can recall three.
All three times, the fence was cut.
Lying can lead into a rut!
The last time the fence was cut, catalytic converters were stolen from high-end RVs.
And repairing the chain-link fence, of course, was Dave and me.
They spent several thousand dollars making the office look cheap and unhealthily stirring dust.
He brags about how professional he is and such a role model, though that, this review does bust.
Rob took to his home the maintenance cart and supposedly bought a new generator for the biz.
Maybe he thinks he's smart. He wound up taking the generator home, too, because it seems to us that's the way he is.
Brand new, gigantic Christmas trees also got stored at work.
For Your Self Storage never were they used, because he took those to his home, too. A perk?
We walked around those gigantic trees that sat so long in the floor.
We could go on telling you stuff like this. There is so much more.
A new broom once disappeared and then he took the fans.
It was like, "BOOM!" when he appeared. Erratic is how he ran.
He took away the always-in-use key holder Brady made for rental truck keys.
It's easier to see when we get older. There's much about Rob to displease.
Once, we went to Blue Gator and we watched him drink hard liquor, appearing to be drunk.
I'm glad he didn't lick the waiter, though we think he did "kerplunk."
After Blue Gator, we think he dove low, as he licked a Blues Brothers statue.
Moments later, he grabbed its crotch and we were glad when he was through.
We tried to like this guy; We did.
From the get-go with YSS, our roles, we wanted rid.
The Friersons gave us the "guard shack" alleging they wanted to say, "Thank you";
Rob then cracked his whip so much, constantly, he was barking things to do.
We'd already given him our notice in the month of two and the year of 21.
Rob had agreed to two trips off to move our things and only allowed us one.
Being around Rob, clearly, for us, was no fun.
Around March, we were told we had through the end of the month to transfer Sitelink to a cheaper software.
That's not all. It felt like we were in the movie "Cape Fear;" because he caused a scare!
He led us on with the "guard shack," by saying it was ours.
He'd say things like "here's half of what we need, we're almost there." It's as if our hope gave him powers.
Many evenings Rob kept us occupied to look for a camper.
We were trying to move our things and leave, yet did not want to be a damper.
And to look a gift horse in the mouth, we don't. And that's what we thought this was.
Though those six years we were knocked off course and things were south, at Rob we did not cuss.
The Friersons wanted a camper for us to stay in until the new workers arrived.
Proper time for us to pack our things, we feel we were deprived.
We had a 10 x 20 climate-controlled unit filled with books that was also in our way.
The Friersons kept us busy doing tasks, there's so many Rob would say.
"Go and remove the chain-link fence, for it is in my way."
That is just a snippet of things that he would say.
There is a lot to removing a chain-link fence.
And there was never a word of recompense.
He and his family would bring takeout food.
Eating in front of employees without offering them to eat, too, I think is rude.
So instead of just chilling and letting us get out...
The Friersons made a ruckus! Oh, my, they caused our shout.
Rob ordered demanding tasks; one, we refused to do!
One thing he asked is hard to believe he would do.
He told us to make a ramp of concrete outside the shop door.
He said something like, "I'd prefer to ride this cart without bouncing my feet onto the floor."
He also changed from landline to cell phone, causing the work phone to go down.
This was at the first of the month and many tenants had to stop in who were wearing a BIG frown...
...Because the software settings were set to add on fees we did not charge.
There's probably things I'm forgetting; this task was such a barge.
We believe Rob caused the software settings to send out false lien sale alerts.
People were getting erroneous auction notices, which really made us hurt.
Rob also slighted Veterans five percent by reneging on half.
Said greed resulted in a 15 percent discount instead, according to his staff.
We've been told we were blamed by Rob and staff for the computer nonsense.
Toward evil, we feel bold. Evil has no defense!
Barging in, we feel Rob did and did not mind at all.
There are things that he said that made him appear with gall.
He said he planned to build a building, containing an apartment.
He also said they were going to put in a new doublewide and would charge us rent.
In the new apartment, would be a second bedroom.
That he and Sonya would be sharing the space with us was a GIANT "BOOM!"
About paying rent to him we were like, "there's no way!"
When we finally left YSS, a shocking thing someone did say.
She said she had been praying that somehow, there, we would get out.
She said she had felt sorry for us, as she made her lips to pout.
I am not exactly sure what she meant. Maybe it was that it was obvious we weren't pampered.
Rob had told us we had through the end of May, before they needed us to move into a camper.
We were asked to stay until September and that stayed in the air.
Also on this site is information we feel urged to share.
Rob was getting ready to install portable storage sheds, so needed to move the "guard shack."
He tried to get us to take it without getting a title saying something like, "just hook it with your truck and drive that baby back."
He asked us to take it to Holder since it was in their way.
It is great to be older and unafraid of things to say.
If anyone is offended, then it is that person's fault.
There are lots of folks who think, for them, everything should halt.
Finally, I stood up to Rob and this was into May.
I said something like "these tasks, they take time in gobs and with zero pay."
Rob had told me to have Dave remove more fencing which was around the retention pond.
He wanted it stacked neatly. It seems this guy thinks he has a wand.
It was almost around noon on Saturday when Rob made this request.
I could not get out of there too soon. I will say, around this boss I did not feel my best.
After I'd challenged him, Rob told the bulldozer driver to crash down another section of commercial chain-link fence.
We'd taken down that fencing he'd asked us to that Saturday when he'd had no defense.
When I had mentioned he never paid for any of his extra demands, he ignored, as has often been his way.
I am thankful for God's word saying to give our testimony we can. "I'm sorry, "never did Rob say.
This story gets much worse;it's one that makes me sick.
Working for Rob, we felt cursed. Satan's who will trick.
Despite saying we had time to move, Rob had the ground torn up.
We feel more in a groove after these stings. Sweet, now tastes our cup.
Around May 12 we had enough and wrote Rob a letter.
It basically said, "Wake up! We think you can do better."
Instead of doing better, basically said, "We're through."
Right down to the letter, acts of narcissism is what he did do.
He said something like, "I'll pay through Saturday and the money I gave for the camper, you can pay me half."
That we would owe this guy anything, there's no way, so hysterically we did laugh.
He then said the money for the camper was a gift, so there was no need to pay him back.
Though we laughed, it was not funny. We were deprived of time to pack.
It is sad when anyone lacks Christ.
It looks really bad when one's focus is on buys.
While working at YSS we were instructed not to speak of God.
We have often thought those people were odd.
We were also told not to display our politics.
We have also thought, "those people are sick."
A Bible was left in the office one day and I would have thought that it had bad germs.
Something like, "here you go; out, please take this," said Sonya, who held it as she'd squirm.
So, getting back to May 13, 2021...
We were packing as fast as anyone would've seen. We were so ready to run.
At that time the yard was dozed, so quite a ways we had to walk our things.
And that now reminds me that I did forget something.
The Sunday that Corey dozed some fencing down, he also took out our water.
Of all the things Rob had done causing us to frown, this one made us hotter.
Rob asked us to fix it, even though we are not licensed plumbers.
His request, we decided to nix it and instead were like, "here are some phone numbers."
We demanded he pay for a hotel room and he had not wanted to.
I probably don't need to tell, with this guy, we had turned so blue.
On May 14, to the "guard shack" Robert appeared.
He was like, "I'm here to help you pack and to see your things are cleared."
We began feeling livid and demanded him to give us space.
He was calling me flattering names like, "sweetie"and acting as if he liked my face.
He was like, "we're moving this mobile out tomorrow, so I need you out today."
"Not unless you want some great big sorrow," is what we then conveyed.
We said words like, "give us a break...we can't even get in here, our moving truck.
You've pushed us extremely far and now you're pushing your luck."
Rob finally backed off and conceded not to help us pack.
When we are pushed into a corner, easy it's to push back.
Acting as if he just realized for the first time that the yard and driveway were destroyed...
This acting-unwell guy acted like he wanted to help us. Sugary sweet acted this boy.
Rob said words like, "I'm going to get the roller. I'll make you a driveway, you will see."
He kept us outside in the sun too much that day, and to pack and move, I did not feel free.
We had loaded up the 10 x 20 climate control unit shortly prior while
working through the night.
It was a challenge to move or pack with tenants there, because of time that could take a bite.
We did not have any time to spare, because we were also finishing the fencing at our place in Holder.
Though this issue was uncalled for, no longer is wincing in this face, since it helps getting older.
So, Rob the roller went to rolling the sand to pack it down.
He's the reason for the unnecessary doling making him look like a clown.
On May 15, we went to Holder to hang the final gate.
We received a call from a customer who told us that things were not so great.
We were told we had been mentioned that day at the storage auction.
We did not realize bad things had happened, because the cameras we'd not been watching.
Later, Rob admitted to holding an auction for the unit of a deceased tenant without having the required papers.
And there occurred more malfeasance and it was about us. We were so tired from all these capers.
We were told we'd been called thieves who had stolen the shop tools.
When we got back, we confronted this liar and let him know that we're not fools.
When Outback Storage was sold to Your Self Storage, LLC, there was a list made of the inventory.
Our reasoning for Rob's alleged tool theft is a guess, though this should be in this story.
Brady took his tools and these tools were not advertised to stay.
His tools had been in the shop when Rob and Sonya visited the facility that day.
Since, several times, Rob and Sonya have laughed out loud while telling us Brady had even listed a bear.
That Robert accused us in front of a crowd of being tool thieves is something about which we do care!
We were told that the bulldozer operator also trashed us with Rob.
Apparently, his girlfriend had gotten mad at us at her driver's license bureau job.
This story gets stranger; I hope it all, you'll hear.
Dave confronted Corey and I couldn't believe what I did hear.
When Corey got off the dozer, Dave was like, "you got a problem with me?"
Dave was told we are pricks and problematic, because we would not flee.
We had no idea we were expected to be out already.
No one had told us, which was really cruddy.
Corey was like, "AND YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE FOR MOVING YOUR CHAIR!"
Apparently, Corey's girlfriend had told us to keep all of the chairs there.
Dave had not heard the girl wearing the facemask, who had stood at the door.
I remember when he moved it. I'd said, "oh no, you're not supposed to pick the chair up off the floor."
When Corey was screaming vulgarities, Rob had stood by him.
I said words like"I'm going to get my camera to record these acts that are dim...
...because Corey had resumed dozing the path for the Penske, which Rob had rolled the day before46;
In this part of the story, we were fuming, felt wrath and were way past feeling sore.
We screamed for them to stop so we could load the truck.
Normally, we are calm and seldom do we buck.
Corey acted as if he would demolish Dave.
Dave stood there unwavering and looking so brave.
When I said I was getting my camera for this absolute bulls-it...
Finally, Robert instructed Corey to quit.
Dave said we'd stay forever if they wouldn't stop and it'd take a court order to make us leave.
So, off the dozer Rob made Corey hop, which made Corey act angry as his chest bowed and heaved.
As Corey walked to his car to leave, he threatened that he would get us later if we were in Holder.
The next day we realized Rob and Corey had dozed tortoise burrows, so made a complaint, feeling bolder.
Backing up just a tad, we confronted Robert in the shop right after Corey left.
Rob knew Dave was mad and acted as if he wasn't; he mentioned popcorn and shopping and appeared inept.
That was typical Rob behavior. It's normal for him to stare blankly as we would talk.
When we were there, to us, he acted as if with The Savior he does not seek to walk.
Rob has worn a Darwin fish on the tailgate of his Dodge.
One day Dave confronted him saying words like, "don't your actions ever you watch?"
This was when Rob had lectured us again against displaying to folks our views.
We would not have accepted the job had we known this dictation. That's when Dave was like, "what a joke! Here is you some news..."
Dave told Robthat he was the one displaying views with his Darwin fish.
It seems to us, narcissists cannot take it when to them reality is dished.
Dave said something like, "look at how you parked where everyone turning in the parking lot can see your Darwin sign."
Rob said words like, "Darwin won't be burning. He has heart. I can only see that he's just fine."
Nonetheless, Rob moved his truck that day, turning it around.
For anyone turning into the parking lot, Darwin could not be found.
It saddens us when folks despise Christian values while promoting unGodly ways.
That they be cured, I hope they will. To promote God we shall do. I'll be hoping for only praise.
On Monday, May 17, while watching the cameras, we saw sheriff deputies.
We saw them in the office with Rob so went there helpfully.
Dave was like, "are you here for the turtles" and they said they were not.
Apparently, Rob was creating another hurdle for us and he's who, them, had brought.
Rob accused us of trespassing, scaring customers and reported we had a gun.
He has never called for a truce and we wonder if he's smart enough to even realize the harm he's done.
We explained that we'd given our notice in February and Rob asked us to stay through the end of May.
We think they realized the call against us was bogus and Rob was contrary, since "there's nothing we can do," to Rob's what they did say.
After the officers left, Rob creeped around the "guard shack."
He'd be staring while in the front, then we saw him in the back.
He climbed underneath the side porch and then stood behind our moving truck.
We found that apparently he got scorched. Harming turtles should not bring good luck.
He had to change his schedule, so the remaining turtles could live.
We see this individual as one who will take instead of give.
Rob kept calling the cops on us, we later found out.
The officers refused to come back for us and appeared toward Rob to have doubt.
Taking a chance, we drove the Penske in sand after Rob and Corey had destroyed the drive and lawn.
The officers were called again after we had gone.
According to the police report, we left the "guard shack" in "ok" condition.
Nonetheless, our names, Rob did fleece when he made his next petition.
Again, Rob summoned the sheriff's department, making a false report against us.
It's too bad when someone displays actions that aren't smart and breaking the Ninth Commandment, that person does.
Against us, Rob bore false witness by reporting we vandalized the "guard shack" and stole the AC.
That scam could not possibly be more witless, since when we received the "OK" a missing unit, the cops did not see.
We took pictures of all four AC units, to include the two we had bought.
Bearing false witness does not just make Rob rude, because it destroyed a lot.
We left YSS in May of '21 and did not lose camera access until that December.
That was after sending Robert a letter as a reminder. Surely, he remembered?!?
Though Rob tried destroying us, he's actually destroying himself.
And, he created a story that's interesting to tell.
The Frierson's ACs had quit working and, them, the Friersons did not repair.
We bought new window units, so we would have some air.
The police report indicates the false witness against us was to recoup losses with an insurance claim.
To be free of that place feels awesome. Thanks to God for all He did do. Since leaving there, we are not the same.
It's neat how God can use the work of evil to make His Work better.
Throughout this ordeal with Rob, we leveled with him, sending many-a letter.
As a result of Rob's assaults, we feel we are stronger.
In our hearts gone is past hate. Hate can't control us any longer.
As for Rob, who's yet to repent, we pray God will help him live.
An important thing to come from this is that we now forgive.
A moral to this story is for evil to be revealed.
Only when unwellness is acknowledged can unwellness be healed.
If one thinks Rob Frierson is well...
Then his wacky-packed box in the closet, the truth, it will tell.
Concerning Denise Petrovich and why on this website she is named...
It appears she tried to have us framed.
Rob's crazy-packed box, Denise tried getting it to us.
She did something else to indicate she's not one to trust.
Denise compromised customer's identities by letting kids play with copies of IDs and also take them home.
She also failed to properly dispose of sensitive information, so there's no telling how far it's roamed.
